Damn does the NBA have a draft lotto for the top 4 picks? I thought it was like how the NHL was doing it with the top 3 picks being lotto.

We get a huge impact player with star potential to surround around Siakam, Vanvleet, Trent Jr, Boucher

Need another star player along with this 4th pick if we want to become a Suns/Utah-type contending team. Obviously whoever we get with the 4th pick will take 2-3 years before we can expect a booker/Mitchell-like playoffs but it's promising to see quality talent entering the raptors organization.

Wow 4 is fantastic. This was honestly the perfect year to tank and this organization even in a bad year looks great.

My thoughts exactly, the top 4 was strong so we didn't have to tank for 1st overall and the team wasn't even in Toronto. You wont get a more ideal situation to tank than this season

You never say never, becuase who's to say some team doesn't come along and offer a trade they can't refuse. But I'd bet against it being traded. The ability to add a young, top shelf talent on a nice cheap rookie contract is a big boon for the Raptors if they want to either a) bring back Lowry or b) look to make any other splashes in free agency.

Im a Sens fan and we were pretty damn happy being “stuck” with Stützle at 3rd OA last year as the last of the big 3

Yup can't criticize whoever we pick because whoever of the 3 (Suggs, Mobley, Green) that falls will be consensus BPA.

I couldn't imagine the weight of picking at 2 and wondering if the next two guys picked after will be better than your guy.

I doubt that makes much difference. If it's not Masai it'll be Bobby Webster, who has been Masai's right hand long enough that that I wouldn't expect much in the way of philosophical change in the team's direction and plans.

4th overall, OG, FVV, Siakam, & Trent Jr is a nice core.

We need to bring in a solid big (I assume Mobley won't be there at 4), and we'll be looking good.

Ibaka has a 9.5 m player option, I'd offer more than that to entice him back to TO. There isn't really any other good bigs available in free agency, unfortunately.

I want Lowry back depending on the contract term, a sign and trade to bring in more picks wouldn't be horrible given the youth of our team, though.

I think its one of suggs/mobley that falls. I would love green because he gives us a legit shot creator and he can score multiple ways. I'm only iffy on suggs as I don't see the shot and in today's NBA shot is king. But i love the defense and the hustle suggs brings. All i know is unlike other toronto sports teams, we don't have to worry, masai and bobby know what they are doing.

Noel makes sense for us, but he'll get a 3 + year deal based on the lack of talent available, and could easily turn in to a bad contract.

So apparently the Athletic twitter account tweeted that the pistons like Green a lot. Either way i think Cade and Green go top 2. I previously thought mobley would fall to us but with the logjam the cavs have with garland and sexton I think they'd rather take mobley than suggs. Too bad as I think mobley is legit and so is green.
