Bradley Beal's trash talking during intermission and jawing at Lowry is far more maddening to me. Paul Pierce is a HOF'er, hate him in the series, but you have to respect him and the career he's put together.

Beal on the other hand acts like he's at the schoolyard and yeah he had a good game, but the kid has a long way to go before he gets the respect of players or fans around the league
What was Beal doing? I missed most of the game. I saw a short video of his interview at the end of the game where he said something like "They think we're punks and try to push us around but we ain't rollin" or something dumb like that.

What did he do/say during the game?

Waved goodbye to Lowry after he fouled out Saturday. Today was trash talking (lip readers will attest) once the Wiz were up big in the 4th, and then pushed Lowry a couple times, leading to the double Tech's

******* the Wiz, ******* Beal and more importantly ******* Pierce. Can't believe we are getting slapped around like this.

Raptors need rebounding help badly. I would even consider putting Hayes in to change things up, at least he may know how to box out.
I'm not even sure how we beat the Wizards in all the games during the regular season as we had a poor rebounding differential then too

Raptors can't stop a pick-n-roll to save their lives. They don't anticipate it, no clue where it's coming from, nobody hedges, zero communication. Some of that is coaching but did none of these guys ever face a pick-n-roll prior to this year?

That's because our system is to blitz the pick and roll (i.e. double the ball handler), but we don't have the mobile bigs to pull it off and it way too high risk to do over and over again. Instead of doing something more practical like ICE (forcing the ball handler away from the middle screen towards the baseline with the man on his hip and having the big quickly jump in to help and jump back out to his man to allow the defender to get back in front of the ball handler) on a pick and roll, we blitz it, which rarely ever works out. JV's help defense isn't good and Amir's normally high level help D has slipped this year.

we're boys playing against men out there.

not enough veteran grizzle on this team. and Lowery is barely playing it seams and he is our most important player.

I knew we were in trouble when we missed out on the Bucks matchup.

Washington is flat out a better team.

The Craptors blow. Not surprised cause they've been playing like garbage since January.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a 4-0 sweep.

all this chirping is a part of their strategy and it's working... it must have worked for brooklyn last year. Casey is doing a horrible job of adjusting and coaching... very poor decisions are being made out there.

They are not a flat out better team. Toronto has had problems for a while now and they lost sight of what made them successful, team ball. I think they will get it together for the next game I don't know if they can take 2 games away from the wiz tho in Washington.

Lowery has played like crap since the All star game. Then went down to injury and has never regained form. He's much better then he's been playing so he's either playing through an injury or the injury messed up his game..

Demar has been playing some major up n down ball. Some games he looked like a star other games he looked like the Demar we have become use to, try to do everything himself not pass the ball and dig his team a deep hole to get out of.

JV has been above avg to good. Still not getting the core minutes he deserves and regardless if the other team goes small JV is still better then any big we currently have on our team.

They know the level of ball they can play, we know the level of ball they are capable of. They are not pretenders they should legitimately be right up there with the other teams favoured to come out of our conference. The thing is where has that team been the second half of the season? They started to disappear before the All Star game and haven't returned yet... and the clock is ticking.

This is precisely it, Casey isn't adjusting at all during the game, same thing happened last year. Casey is overhead when it comes to strategy and game planning. Like I said during the game last night, all you see with this team offensively is ISO ISO ISO ISO etc etc. there's no strategy it's all one on one stuff and Washington has figured us out and it's up Casey to get a different approach going with this group or we're going to get swept. Last night was embarrassing. Completely out coached and outplayed for the 2nd playoffs in a row. Time for Casey to hit the road.

The thing is we've never played playoff type basketball. You rarely see a team so reliant on jump shooting and ISO plays like the Raptors are. It works during the regular season but you have to have a different game plan and mindset in the playoffs. Like Jack Armstrong said last night "The playoffs are a man's game" you have to dig deep and play tough and earn your baskets. You're not going to get calls like you did in the regular season and usually if you rely on your jump shot you're going to end up losing because defence becomes way more intense. You have guys in your face a lot more, you get double teamed..this team just sucks with it's overall game strategy.

I still think the Raps win the series if they can get it back to Toronto

I just don't think they're playing another home game this year

A sweep would be extremely embarrassing. There should never be a sweep in the 4 vs. 5 matchup. Ever. I think the Raps will win at least one game in DC. The Wizards are not THAT good.

I think whoever wins game 3, they will win. We need a win and I agree with last part, Wizards are not that good. The truth is Raptors are killing themselves

Yeah. I mean getting swept by Wizards? Really? I am sorry but that doesnt sound right.
I stilk believe we win this but man just one win to get them rolling again and it has to happen in game 3

I think im about done with Casey. I use to think people were overreacting when they wanted him fired because this team had the best record in franchise history.

This team winning so many games is more based on out talenting the weak eastern conference it would seem

You can talk about the Raptors going only 12-15 after the All-Star break, but it's not like Wiz were setting the world on fire either over the same time span. 13-15 for them after the break. It's not like you have a hot team playing against a cold team. That's why this is so mind boggling to me that we're down 0-2.

If Bradley ****ing Beal is yelling "**** with me" at Lowry we've got problems. Dude was so panicked in game 1 he was clanking jumpers off the side of the damn backboard and now he's confident and trash talking. I'm sick of cheering for teams that shy away from the big moment.

I honestly prefer starting a series on the road. I feel like if you can steal 1 win away on the road you have already come out on top.

Winning 2 in a row at home is too difficult. The Raptors LOST both at home. Now we are in big trouble. You guys think they can pull out to W's on the road just to get back to square 1?

Hasn't been a problem for any other team so far.
