Yeah - outta those 3 choices I’d stay with HC as well.Utah HC is what'd I'd go with.
They need better jerseys though, the diagonal U-T-A-H is ugly and boring.

I always liked that aspect of it. Utah is the western conference Habs
What is a Wasatch?
Wasatch is too regional. It's an obscure mountain range most people cannot pronounce correctly and won't care to when told otherwise.
Keep Utah HC, the haters can cry about it lol
A boring and more kid friendly hybrid of a sasquatch and wasquatch.

Stick with HC, atleast it's different
I’m guessing they’ve already negotiated a deal with them in principle if they’re announcing it as a possibility. It does seem strange though considering there is some territorial overlap thereWe already have that. Have to believe they would get rejected again if they went that direction...
I like Mammoth but it should be Mammoths.

What? HC is different and Wasatch isn't.
I had to Google what a wasatch was...

Why don't they just recycle old team names Utah Scouts rolls right off the tongue.
im gonna go out on a limb and say that Yeti is an exponentially more valuable brand than an indoor lacrosse franchise. The cost to negotiate an agreement with Yeti would likely be prohibitively expensive and may even be a nonstarter from the cooler brand’s perspective....so Yeti can't be used cuz of the cups & coolers, but another sport's franchise name can be used despite the fact that they play in the same geographic area of the US...makes sense...

Meanwhile they can probably license the Mammoth name for much cheaper, and it would probably be a smart business move on the part of the lacrosse franchise. That fee could easily equal 5-10+ years worth of their net revenue.
Not sure about the CO Mammoth’s specific financials but indoor and outdoor lacrosse franchises move or fold all the time (although I know the outdoor lacrosse team in Denver was one of the few profitable franchises in the MLL).
