I'VE NEVER OWNED A DOG BEFORE, BUT I LOVE MY DOGS VERY MUCH

THE PUPPY IS NOT THE BEST BEHAVED, BUT SHE'S SUCH A CUDDLY SWEETHEART

THE OTHER DOG IS EASILY SCARED AND EXCITED, BUT SHE'S VERY NICE ONCE SHE SETTLES DOWN

WE ALSO HAVE A CAT, AND SHE'S PROBABLY MY FAVORITE OF ALL OF OUR PETS

I GUESS I WOULD CONSIDER MYSELF MORE OF A CAT PERSON THAN A DOG PERSON, BUT ONLY BECAUSE I'VE NEVER LIVED WITH A DOG BEFORE

I HOPE someone DOESN'T INTERPRET THIS AS ME BEING ANGRY, BECAUSE I AM IN FACT VERY HAPPY WITH MY ANIMALS AND I LOVE THEM VERY MUCH

I can't remember which year it was, but they had one of the games for free through Xbox Live a while back.

They aren't very fun, probably because the control system sucks and feels like it hasn't been updated in 20 years

Jim, I'm sorry, but we need you to be more positive.

Are you angry at Mr. Helmsley, or are you actually angry about something else?

It's okay, Jim, you can let it all out

Today when I walked into my economics class I saw something I dread every time I close my eyes. Someone had brought their new gaming laptop to class. The Forklift he used to bring it was still running idle at the back. I started sweating as I sat down and gazed over at the 700lb beast that was his laptop. He had already reinforced his desk with steel support beams and was in the process of finding an outlet for a power cable thicker than Amy Schumer's thigh. I start shaking. I keep telling myself I'm going to be alright and that there's nothing to worry about. He somehow finds a f***ing outlet. Tears are running down my cheeks as I send my last texts to my family saying I love them. The teacher starts the lecture, and the student turns his laptop on. The colored lights on his RGB Backlit keyboard flare to life like a nuclear flash, and a deep humming fills my ears and shakes my very soul. The entire city power grid goes dark. The classroom begins to shake as the massive fans begin to spin. In mere seconds my world has gone from vibrant life, to a dark, earth shattering void where my body is getting torn apart by the 150mph gale force winds and the 500 decibel groan of the cooling fans. As my body finally surrenders, I weep, as my school and my city go under. I f***ing hate gaming laptops.

A comfortable life without any real difficulties is making people mentally weak. With being mentally weak I mean - having a low willpower, having low ambitions, succumbing to any desire you have, not being able to accept the world the way it is.
People become unhappy because of lack of real hardship, namely when you have no really bad experience like hunger, lack of shelter, extremely long and hard work, losing siblings during childhood etc. to compare to your super-comfortable life and extremely pleasurable leisure activities, your threshold of "being happy" gets risen to unrealistic levels. Living conditions in which the average depressed person lives in today are better than conditions that 95% of humans that have ever existed had.
Almost all dominant ideologies among youth are an expression of the said weakness. Hedonism, which used to be seen as despicable and the worst social values that person could have, has became the norm and is directly caused by low will-power. Socialism almost always comes from being unsatisfied of condition of the person who is supposedely suffering and not actual care about others, otherwise rich people would also subsribe to such ideas on mass, yet they don't. Veganism is a great example of caring about issue that does not really influence your well-being in any way.
You can call it "being woke" and "compassionate", but actually it means "weak". Being reconcile opposite viewpoints and embracing negative experience used to be a part of human life.
