you know the reason he was more excited than usual for this final is that he saw Kenin was facing a "no name" ranked really low, so it was basically a "sure win" for Sofia

I'm going with #3!

As an aside, I always root for Americans to win, but there is something about Kenin that makes her very unlikeable to me. And it does not help that she has a helicopter father/coach/whatever.
