You still haven't given a good reason to critique DiMare who led Miami to a strong season this year. They did lose in an epic 9th inning collapse but that shouldn't take away from a solid season. DiMare has had a strong history of making Miami baseball good again, and Miami led the Coastal for many weeks before VT took command and won the division.

Then I go to Miami boards and the fans say "Will DiMare survive Radanovich" the answer is yes :) He's a good guy AND MIAMI ALUMNUS (which you keep neglecting to mention)

This is how NOT to be considered a hack!

Enjoy rooting for "your Irish" in the CWS Mr. Price! #Bandwagon

I don't care about ND

Dick Vitale does

there's a difference

In 2015, DiMare guided the Hurricanes to the No. 1 national ranking in offense. Miami scored 547 runs over the season, which ranked first nationally at an average of 8.16 runs per game. Miami’s offense, which ranked No. 7 nationally in batting average (.307) and No. 2 in on-base percentage (.417), led the way to the team’s 24th College World Series appearance in program history and second straight ACC Coastal Division title.

DiMare’s impact on the program was felt immediately upon his return in 2012, as the first recruiting class under his watch was ranked among the top 10 by two national publications. Miami’s incoming 2012 freshman class was ranked No. 10 by Baseball America, its first top-10 ranking from BA since 2006, and No. 9 by Collegiate Baseball. One of those newcomers, third baseman David Thompson, earned Freshman All-America honors from Perfect Game following the conclusion of the 2013 season.

Previously, DiMare helped recruit and coach players such as Yonder Alonso, Ryan Braun, Jon Jay, Gaby Sanchez, Danny Valencia and Jemile Weeks – all of whom have reached the big leagues in recent years. DiMare’s accomplishments on the recruiting scene during his nine years in the capacity of recruiting coordinator are as impressive as the Hurricanes’ annual postseason results. His 2001 class was rated among the top five nationally and his 2003 class was ranked among the top 15 nationally.

If you go to Miami boards then you know darned well why fans want him gone. His post season record is abysmal. Players are not developed properly. And I find it hilarious you keep touting his regular season record while at the same time claiming the Panthers' President Trophy means nothing. You want DiMare to stay for the same reasons you loved Golden & wanted Manure Diaz to be retained.

Ron Fraser 1963-92: 1,271-438-9 (.740)

The University of Miami became a major factor on the national collegiate baseball scene when the school hired Ron Fraser to guide the program in 1962. A player at Florida State in the late 1950s, Fraser was the mentor of the Dutch National Team for three years before Miami lured him to Coral Gables. Over the span of 30 years, “The Wizard of College Baseball” built what many considered the model collegiate program.

TIL miami baseball existed before 2021

TIL Miami baseball has high standards as a "superpower"

TIL Miami baseball > Miami football

no wonder your standards are so high that you are upset with DiMare lol. From an outsider's perspective DiMare is a good winning coach.

The 44-Year Postseason Streak Begins

Miami holds the NCAA record with 44 consecutive postseason berths

In 25 seasons at Miami, Morris won 1,090 games, made the NCAA postseason in 23 straight years, reached the College World Series 13 times and won National Championships in 1999 and 2001. He also led the Hurricanes to the program’s first ACC tournament championship in 2008, as well as three ACC regular season titles and four Coastal Division titles. His No. 3 is retired at Miami.

And when The Wizard retired they made the same mistake they made with Gino. They hired some clown who was an assistant coach to try & keep the continuity going and he almost destroyed the program. Thankfully, they quicky realized they messed up, and brought in Morris who had great success at Ga. Tech and Morris brought them back to the top. They need to bring in another "new voice from the outside" who has had success at another program and hopefully he will do what Morris did when he 1st arrived.
