I was just trying to download it from their website.

Just a simple file download, and yet my phone was just acting stupid. I would click "download" and it would randomly decide to eventually show on my downloads page, rather than just, y'know, starting the download at 0.

Meanwhile, I look around the plane and other people are browsing the internet with issues.

It would be less frustrating for my phone to just say "f*** you" than not work when every indication says it should be.

Watched some of Watchmen on TV last night.

I have formerly said that it is good, but I need to retract that statement.

Too many scenes with obnoxious and out of place music. Probably because Zack Snyder is a buffoon with the grace and subtlety of a f***ing sledgehammer.

What doesn't make sense for me in Watchmen is that you have all of those superheroes fighting in Vietnam War, yet you fail to win the war. This is stupid.

One of the big historical events that gets affected is the Vietnam War, where the US wins and further heightens tensions with Russia.

Then, even though Russia still views him as a threat, Doc Manhattan decides that he no longer wants to interfere with human progress, leaving US and Russia to their nuclear arms race that threatens the future of humanity.
