Just for the f*** of it, I'll say it yet again: shitty "edgy" comedy is not what made the Attitude Era great.

The main events (almost always containing one of Stone Cold, The Rock, or heel Vince) were so great that crowds were going home happy and forgetting all the dumb shit that happened on the undercard.

It was the exact opposite of WCW, where the main events were so consistently bad that crowds would forget all the great matches they saw on the undercard and go home pissed off.

One thing I was caught off guard is that the series hasn't been a goaltending duel. Lots of scoring from both sides, although that seemed to phase down later in the series.
