"Why do you post other places"

So i can openly talk politiks without people whining about rule violations

for instance I'm watching CNN right now and some breaking news that can't be discussed here

"why don't you stop being a CNN parrot"

1) it's better than being a MSNBC parrot
2) all i'm providing is just unbiased information

watching cnn

discussion on fresh vegetables elsewhere and how al michaels has never eaten one

i mean vegetables aren't that bad you just need to have them frozen. preparation is a bitch.

why should i spend time to peel and dice a carrot when I can just use a frozen pre-diced one. Then @Zaide complains my pepper cuts are too big. Well that's why there's a food processor here.

Why should I spend time to make my vegetables more bite size the old fashioned way? Just put everything in a food processor. Problem solved. I use garlic all the time now and I just peel 5 or 6 cloves and put it in the processor. Blitz.
1) Frozen vegetables are okay in some dishes, I myself can use them. However, you're losing on texture in a couple dishes.
2) A food processor only chops stuff to small, uneven pieces. This works in some dishes, but this is awful in many other dishes, texture wise. Like, you won't make a stir fry that tastes and feels great with veggies chopped in the food processor.
3) A food processor also bruises the cell walls of your veggies more than a sharp knife. This means that veggies cut a specific size with a food processor vs cut the same size with a sharp knife will be much more watery. Again, non-issue in some dishes, but this can be a major issue in some others.
4) Also, regarding garlic : the way you prep garlic has a major effect on the final dish. Sliced vs finely chopped by hand vs crushed vs grated, all provide different result.
5) Finally, a knife is easier to clean than a food processor AND a knife (since if you don't do initial prep, your food processor will jam)

Joe's too busy cuddling with Netanyahu.

Hope you can find cheaper Schulz tickets, he probably puts on a great show.

.....no doubt, but you said it as a response to absolutely nothing, right after talking about Andrew Schulz tickets.

So I was just curious. Were you providing live commentary to something unrelated that you were watching, or what?
i'm watching a vote for the US House to elect a speaker.

at this time it appears there will not be enough votes to elect one.
