So why is Edge on NXT now.

Big Show, Samoa Joe and Edge are all on NXT. Meanwhile WWE has nobodies other than Roman Reigns who is always being pushed

Nobody cared about Big Show, and he isn't doing much in AEW.

Samoa Joe was always, always injured. Anytime he'd get a push, he'd get a major injury. Hard to pay a premium for a talent that is kept on the sideline so often.

Edge wanted to have his last match with Christian, most likely. Nothing to do with him wanting to leave WWE because "it sucks". He was mostly just a pop machine by the end, so not like a lot is lost in terms of entertainment content there.

Thing with AEW is they're oversaturated with performers, and they don't really know what to do with them, so they just create a bunch of stables of 3-5 wrestlers and there's like 49292 different titles.
