They closed because of a few reasons IIRC. The owner Seamus wanting to try new endeavours for one thing. And he wanted to spend more time with his wife and kid too.*

Plus the COVID debacle really f***ed pretty much every single headshop up in terms of getting new shipments of stuff from the States, overseas, etc.

Combine all that with the fact that people have less $$ these days to spend on high-end pieces and…voila*

I’ve never really had an outright “bad” experience and I’ve pretty much ordered from every major Canadian headshop online….

Except for one…but that’s because they don’t carry any German-blown pieces.

Some shops are more knowledgeable, communicative, and punctual than others but all in all I’ve had no real complaints.

Pretty much all the local headshops here in Kitchener have gone under though. For various reasons.

I think only 1 is left in Waterloo now, but I don’t go there as they just sell cheap China glass at a 400% markup.

And those other laptops feel oversized and disposable when compared to a MB.

I'm not an Apple fan at all, but their laptops seem somewhat reasonable because the build quality feels rock solid.
