I didn't tell him to avoid carbs because of health, it was because they'd fill him up more

carbs are good for you

IT'S GO TIME, BITCHES
7 plates and I could have made it to 8 but I started getting the feeling I should tap out

And no, I don't mean those wussy small plates

Oh I know my way around buffets.

The Green Teabagger's Guide To Buffets:
1) Don't eat beforehand. Drink plenty of water earlier in the day to hydrate but empty the bladder before proceeding into the establishment.
2) Pace yourself.
3) Stay the f*** away from rice, bread or cheap carbs of any kind; that's where they make their money and that's where you as Ivan Drago of the Stomach Brigade need to break them. Carbs are usually decoys at buffets, period.
4) Go straight for the most expensive non-dessert related shit you can find. I'm talking seafood and meat here, the pricier the better. EDIT: fruits and veggies are acceptable if they are expensive.
5) If you have to have dessert, only do it at the end when you are 99% sure you are about to die already. Never, ever, ever eat dessert first.
6) Drink a lot after you're done (once your stomach appears to have room to fit water) but don't drink a ton during the buffet because that's extra room in your body you could fill with something expensive
