We had a coworker do something similar when he ran "rm -f *.*" in the wrong folder.

He would tell the story like it's hilarious.

Yeah, it's hilarious that you're reminding us how stupid you are.

So you're saying that "sudo chmod -R 777 / 2>/dev/null" is a great idea and I should totally do it. I agree.

EDIT: thinking about this for real now, that operation would take a long time to finish.

Last boss of Stick of Truth takes forever to kill

just comes back alive

kills me with one shot 2nd round. What kind of BS is that?

I asked because there's not really any reason other than being a programmer to install Linux distributions for every day use. Like, what is he even going to use it for.
Tons of reasons. Linux is a really good baseline with tons of flavors for everyday use. No technical reason or expertise necessary.

Microsoft and windows is pretty rough these days, both from a ux and data perspective. It's awesome to have real choices now.

Ubuntu is a fantastic daily for general pop. I don't love canonical but they are bringing it to the people and that's commendable.

Data I can get, but... UX ? ._.

That's quite possibly one area Microsoft excels (no pun intended) at. Unless you mean customization.

First there was Wimbledon. Now between The British Open and the Women's World Cup, when am I supposed to sleep?

Spotify created a "Sass Mix" for me whatever that is and it's good.
