Dear god give me strength to not loose my shit as i usually do.

Don’t they usually vote on the awards in the 2nd period intermission of the Gold Medal game?

I am not joking.

I wanted to know why hockey players lack the personality of stars in other sports. Then I came to this thread and learned why.

It seems that today they do. No shortage back in the day. Roy, Avery, Hull, Roenick, the list goes on.

I don't know why people get so fixated on sports stars having "personality". They perform on the ice. They're not stand up comedians or actors. Who cares. Unless personality is code for "wrap sheet a mile long" like some other sports..

Personality is bad in hockey.

Tangent but Stutzle made a few blunt (English is his second language) comments that were misinterpreted and the Ottawa fanbase was in a tizzy.

It's probably why no one says anything anymore. Even a player calling out his teammates gets blown up to a big drama. I guess the media and 5 million podcast/Youtubers need something for clicks though.

1. USA
2. Sweden
3. Czechia

Seems pretty much spot on based on my observations of the games. (I'm sure Canada will be back on the podium next year.)

Awesome tourney per usual. Can't wait to czech it out in person in two years.

I was a bit baffled about this too. They seemed to be just as happy of humiliating the Swedes as the actual win? I have a hard time seeing the finns or the Czechs act like that. They would be too happy over winning the gold to care about nonsense.
Thats rich coming from you
