I don’t really know who is freaking out here though?

EDIT sorry for the double quote admin feel free to remove it.

Can't believe you are going with that after the horrible hooking call late in the game gifted the US a PP over FIN. The reffing in both semi finals impacted the game in favor of the winners.
i believe they ignore 3 obvious high sticking penalties before that so who cares if it was legitimate penalty.

Imagine getting heated about rough stuff. This is hockey. Loved seeing that. Neither team was in the wrong.
Well, I think starting a fight in a game you're losing 2-6 30 seconds before the end is pretty pathetic. And no, I don't think that's hockey, either.

yeah, the country with 350 million people in its like 5th most popular sport.
5th? There are more than twice the number of high school lacrosse players in the U.S than hockey players. If you search on google you'll see hockey isn't even in the top 10 most popular sports. 99% of the U.S. has never heard of the a world juniors.

That was a makeup call for missed high sticks. They were going to call one for Finland after that. And does it really make a difference whether the call was for a phantom slash or whether it was for a high stick?

Crying about the refs after that "slashing" penalty in the Swiss game and the OT penalty is certainly something.

Refs did not play a part in the final.

Congrats to the USA, they had their best players available and they executed. But can someone please teach the American players some class? I don't think you'd see a Canadian (or other country) celebrating an empty net goal to go up by 4 the way the Americans do. If it was the go up by 2... sure, but not 4. Calm down, you won.

Why are som many Americans triggered now? You were the best team with ease this tournament. Only teams that managed to give your team a hard game seemed to be the Czechs and the finns. Sweden in two periods as well, especially because of their great PP.
Enjoy the win and the fact that you've got a lot of great skaters and a bright future.

No one in the states care about professional lacross. Its just the fact that only the rich can play hockey.

This guy is so full of biased sh*t every single time. Everything is black or white for this kid. Congrats for the win. Best team won, enjoy it instead of being a lousy winner.
No. I can follow the play. You should be complaining about the ridiculous post I replied to.

Not so long ago Sweden never got medals in WJC this is a step up. They need to bring compete in younger ages as other countries and they will win more gold medals. Best goalie won this.

I was a bit baffled about this too. They seemed to be just as happy of humiliating the Swedes as the actual win? I have a hard time seeing the finns or the Czechs act like that. They would be too happy over winning the gold to care about nonsense.
