From CZ expected more. They just stopped to play lol. It became a tradition for them: to blow like a balloon while team got fine potential. Maybe they will show smth in 1/4, lets see.

USA good job :D

This team is better than this on paper. That’s why it’s so frustrating. I’ve never seen Swiss get this badly dominated before by anybody and they’ve rarely had teams better than this Czech one in the last 10 years.
These Czech breakdowns literally happen every year. I don’t get it.

I don't understand either. It's like we can't handle it mentally or struggle to settle down after a few goals, or we just give up?

Team USA probably happy to get the gorillas off both Caufield and Kaliyev. They will need them producing.

Both of them seemed to be buzzing the rest of the game. Their goals definitely took a weight off and gave them a bit of a killer instinct. Hopefully, that carries over to the upcoming games.

Glad to see Turcotte out celebrating with the team. Looks ok

You may've missed that he also skated a shift. I think that he just got the wind knocked out of him.

They better produce with all the prime pp time they are getting with some really good talent. one goal each is not gonna cut it

Are they really? We have one guy drafted in the top50... the US have fourteen.
I'd have pulled Parik sooner but they were completely outclassed.
Better than losing 7-0... like I said, I’ve never seen these kind of games happen to Switzerland for example. Never. They always play tight games every year with the big 5 no matter what team they have. Why is that?

I said this the other night when everybody was slagging on their production: I would be worried if they weren’t getting shots or generating chances. This was probably Cole’s worst game and he still managed to score and be dangerous on a few rushes.
