We've beaten Austria and Czech Republic and laid an egg vs Russia. The other teams must be really bad if we're the most impressive.

not one team has looked impressive as the Americans in that one game.that's what i'm basing my opinion on.

It's a start, though I doubt we will be seeing that in any game from here on in unless I am mistaken and we are taking on the austrians every game or something.

no, it meant nothing to me because the Germans were so undermanned and had a garden gnome statue in net.

What mattered to me were the slovakia and Russia games where it was clear these guys weren't on the same page and were trying to be all cutesy without anything working.
But tonight was a step in the right direction in both areas, but they have to keep playing that way to get results against the strong teams, a weak swiss team settles nothing.

The Ducks top 9 forwards all play the same, there is no top line. We basically have 3 2nd lines.

I’m gonna need to see us show some improvement to call them second lines this year

I never said I wasn't happy with a 3-0 record or 29 goals, I said I was unhappy with how they were playing. and don't forget.....26 of those goals have been against a weaker then usual Swiss team and the German team with their already mentioned issues. Wow!!........I'm blown away.

And it's not like it was just me, most people could see the issues leading into this game. Hopefully this game was the start of them getting ironed out, it looked like it was.

USA with some very impressive offense. Very nice passing, and good shots. The Czechs need to keep skating even after things dont go thier way, sad to see how they just crumble into dust.
