First of all, the Rangers have "games like this" all the time lately, and Halak stole this one, we lose in regulation if it wasn't for him. Getting a PP in 3 on 3 OT is pretty much a guaranteed win these days.

Last night's game was definitely not on Halak, he actually played really well. It's the team in front of him that played like garbage after the first period. Can't pin this one on him--I don't blame him for breaking his stick after allowing the OT goal. He couldn't do it all himself.

Sometimes the team gets lazy and relies on having Igor back there to bail them out sometimes, and it costs them when he's not in net. They tend to play worse when the backup is in net, whoever that may be.

How can you watch that game and think Halak was the problem? He gave up 2 goals in regulation
