I think the need for scoring is fairly obvious and well understood by the front office. They have $10m in cap space and I don’t think it’s going to a dman. They’ll get reinforcements. It might not be Meier or some other guy we think it is. But they’re aware, lol.

Let’s see how it plays out. Gallant is a terrible coach and all their stars are massive softies. Teams don’t go far in consecutive years relying on riding elite goaltending and powerplays. They aren’t a good 5v5 team. Anything can happen, it’s sports. But if I were a betting man I’d put money on the Devils or any other team against them easily

They're 3rd in GAPG this season, almost tied in PK% with us, and have a better power play. I hate the Rags but they won't be an easy out for any team.

I just dont wanna get some 3rd liner that isnt gonna end up doing that much for us. We need a legit top 6 guy right now.

Defence is scoring too

On the bright side, Toronto lose against Columbus, after leading, at home

We’ve been the better team for the majority of two games now against the rags and lost both times. They need to be careful and not let this team get too far into their head.

Getting at least one win out of them two we have against them in March will probably be big for our mental heading to the post season.

In other words, don’t let the Rags become the next Bruins to us.

Look, I’m not interested in spin.

It is what it is- and obviously not too big a deal in the regular season, but you can’t be like “3 goals on 15 shots is just fine”
This isn’t spin. If you give up 10 high danger chances in 20 shots ior 10 high danger chances on 40 shots you’re just as likely to give up the same amount of goals.

Do the top players on other teams routinely go through the kind of scoring droughts that Svech and Aho seem to go through every year? I know Aho was dry for a long while earlier and now Svech is 16 games without a goal.
