Tyanulin I actually know fairly well since he played in Ottawa. There was a time when he was expected to be a top prospect and he was a bit of a disappointment with the 67's relative to the very high expectations but he's got a ton of skills offensively. He's very on and off though, when he's cold he's basically non existent. He's very small too, 5ft9 ish and with a slight frame. A real boom or bust type.

I only saw a couple of his games on TV but he was off the charts offensively. He had 22 more points than his next closest teammate and thought he had great speed and vision. Way more talent than Addison but a completely different kind of player too.

It would have been nice to see him competing for a spot in Laval.

Has he accepted another offer?

Matt Bradley with 22 points in 12 games, averaging 6 shots per game. I still do not understand how no one is offering him an entry level contract. 6 foot , 190 lbs

while watching the SCSU - UMD game from last night, UMD defensemen Nicky Wolff stood out. He's a physical defensive defensemen at least from watching this one game. He was a 20 year old Freshman last year but went undrafted out of the USHL. In his last 2 years there he had 385 pims in 107 games, lol. Might be someone to keep an eye out for.

Jimmy Schuldt is having a heck of a start to his season with St-Cloud. We had him at our dev camp this year but I don't remember if he did well or not. In any case he's a guy the brass is familiar with so I'm sure they're keeping an eye on him.

Even though he's a Junior I got to think he turns pro since he's having a breakout year and is already 22. What a blast from the point he's got.

I'd also look at his other undrafted teammate Robby Jackson who we also had at last summers development camp. He's got a heck of a wrist shot and is also off to a big start to the season.

Yeah Robby Jackson is impressive too. The only issue with him is that he's on the small side. I can't remember how he did at our dev camp either.

Haven't seen him yet but Colt Conrad a Junior at Western Michigan is off to a great start. He's undersized but might be someone to keep an eye on. He plays for former NHL coach and ex Hab employee Andy Murray.

Speaking of Evans, any interest in Jordan Gross?

for sure, he's undersized but good offensive skills. Got to think he signs with an NHL team this off-season.

I'd also keep an eye on two of his teammates. Dylan Malmquist and Andrew Oglevie. Oglevie has been injured but he's the guy most often paired on Evans line over the past 3 years. Malmquist was a standout in the Minnesota USHS, has a good shot.

Jordan Gross will at least get an AHL/ECHL deal somewhere next year , for sure. He's been the main guy on ND's blueline since his sophomore year and pretty much does it all for the team. There are times where he barely leaves the ice for a whole period.

Was watching CC vs SCSU last night, CC has 2 undrafted FA's off to big starts in Nick Halloran and Mason Bergh. Halloran is a 20 year old Sophomore and Bergh a 22 year old Junior. Halloran has doubled last years pt totals in less then half the games, might be someone to keep an eye on. I'll be looking to keep a closer eye on them for tonight's games.

I was wondering, would Jimmy Schuldt be an interesting possible signing ?

His stats are incredible this year ! Is he good all around ?

He was invited to the Habs' development camp in July, so you know Habs like this kid. And some rumors say that there are a few teams interested in him and Montreal is one of them. Hopefully having taken part at a Habs camp already could give them an inside track on signing him.

Bertrand is 2nd in the league in scoring, his teammate also undrafted leads liiga in scoring.
I saw him once this year (in a game versus Kalpa) but he must have had a rare off night because I didn't really notice him. He's had four very productive years in the Liiga in a row so he's certainly worth keeping an eye on .

Considering how invested Montreal is with St. Cloud and that he was a camp invite, I'd say Montreal is probably pursuing him.

haven't seen the game yet but i recorded tonight's Notre Dame game, heard that their goalie Cal Morris had another big night. He's an undrafted FA that's currently the top rated goalie in the NCAA. He's a 21 year old Sophomore. Notre Dame played their starter in all but 1 game last year so he sat on the bench. Before that he appears to have had 2 good years in the USHL. Might be someone to keep an eye on.

An interesting note, the only 2 players that are outscoring Poehling on his team were both invites to the Habs development camp last summer.

Surely Habs have their eyes on them as well.

Schuldt has matched his point total from last season at 19 points. He did it in 36 games last year, he reached it in 13 games this year. I'd like to see them sign him as soon as he's done with his NCAA season.
