He’s not a RD ?
Right. I saw a picture (wrong one) of a guy shooting left with his name beside.
He’s not a RD ?
Find it wierd that Montreal had Schultd under their radar the whole year, rumors theres a deal in place after his playoffs, then Poehlings comments he tried to convince him and didn’t want anything to do with Montreal and lower his list to 5 teams.
thats exacly what i think, they wanted some seasoning in Laval and some people probably offered him a 1 way contract. It's hard to say without knowing what his ask is. If Montreal treated him as a project that needs work (as they should) they probably got outbid by a handful of teams who are over-promising on ice time/NHL minutes.
All entry level contracts are 2 way. It is just whether you promise him that he won't be sent down.thats exacly what i think, they wanted some seasoning in Laval and some people probably offered him a 1 way contract.
Just read that Justin Brazeau has signed a ELC with the Habs... Is it true ?

We should have drafted him instead of Houle.
we should have drafted Mathais Emilio Pettersen instead of Houde imo.
St. Cloud State Forward Blake Lizotte Signs Three-Year, Entry-Level Deal
I was 100% sure he'd be back in college for at least another year. Dang, there really won't be much left on the St-Cloud lineup next year.
They all signed somewhere. Poehling, Schuldt (although he wouldn't come back anyways), Blake and Jon Lizotte, most probably Jackson (I don't know if he's eligible to return).
Jackson's a Senior, I'm sure he'll sign somewhere.
They will be a much different team next year but guys like Achan, Walker, Brodzinski, will be worth keeping an eye on. Brodzinski played here and there with Poehling last year with Jackson.
And I think I saw somewhere that the Ryan's brothers will return to St. Cloud, as well.
I could see them playing in the ECHL after next year but I wouldn't be interested in signing them even to an AHL contract.
Si if the previous report is to be believed, that would leave Vegas, Isles, and Blues.
I think Vegas will be his choice.
Karson Kuhlman was a bit of a surprising signing last year, as he wasn't a big scorer in college. but he was an incredible captain with the bulldogs and let them to the title. and he's succeeding in the NHL with Boston right now!
one year later, the bulldogs are back in the frozen four and their captain is Parker Mackay. is he NHL-material for the bottom lines as well?
