***UND Fighting Sioux Thread***

Sure, beat up on the team with just 4 conference wins. You should've asked the Tigers to switch opponents with your team next weekend, so y'all could steamroll 3-14-1 Miami-OH rather than face the Bulldogs.
UND was down to 16 skaters this weekend. You play who is on your schedule and they took care of business. As far as the Bulldogs go I’ll take a split in a heartbeat

The Sioux sweep Duluth in their barn. Can’t remember the last time that happened. With Western Michigan splitting with Denver the Sioux are now atop the NCHC standings. Not sure how they are doing it considering all the injuries they have right now but they are finding a way

Yet another Siouxweeeep. This time Western Michigan gets the spanking. Sioux now one win away from their third consecutive Penrose Cup. If that happens it will be the sweetest considering the high end players they have lost due to injury

Another season comes to an end. In the middle of January I didn’t think this team would make the tourney let alone win the Penrose Cup. Injuries were piling up and the goaltending was not good. But they got on a bit of a hot streak and were playing pretty decent on the most part. What killed them at the Frozen Faceoff and their defeat to Notre Dame last night was special teams. Powerplay last night really stunk and it has pretty much all season. With that said on to next season

How does that work for you guys. In the CIS you had to do your 5th where you did your 4th and they changed that several years ago that you could go to a school that offered a program that your current school didn't.

An MBA or Education degree for example.

I'm not aware of any educational restrictions regarding NCAA 5th year eligibility, other than what individual schools may place on the potential transfer. This article from last September provides a simplified summary of the eligibility extension ruling, as well as offering some conditions the student-athletes would need to consider.

For all the positives from the news of returners this week, a departure:

Ashton Calder has entered the transfer portal as a graduate student, per Schlossman. He graduated from UND. He could also sign a pro contract. I wish him well

Friendly reminder that professional athletes are human beings … I have to say if I were dealing with this situation I wouldn’t want Bob the reporter to be asking me about my family health situation.
Neither would I but Brock was classy about it. He could of really went off on him but he took the high road
