Seems a decent amount of CIS guys eventually wind up in the ICEHL, can think of far worse places to live than Italy or Austria.

Just noticed that…seems strange given the numbers he had put up over there the last two seasons. Heading to UNB next Christmas?? lol

EDIT - All I can find is that his contract was terminated by mutual agreement.

EDIT - All I can find is that his contract was terminated by mutual agreement.

He signed with a team in Finland (the Pelicans, based in Lahti). That league's probably a level or a level-and-a-half above where he was before, so this is a nice move for him.

He'll certainly dress and may get the DAL game on the 24th. Just noticed the game tonight (UPEI) is postponed.

I know he doesn’t get the toughest competition…but he has never had a bad start for UNB.

Sunday, February 14th does make sense. However, the Panthers will be cutting it pretty close. The first round of the playoffs usually starts on the opening Wednesday.

I heard that the goal would be to schedule the make-up game midweek sometime. UNB is waiting on UPEI to make the decision. Apparently the Panthers' bus was first on the scene to that accident between a car and a truck, and it sounds like they got delayed involved in police interviews, etc. They would have arrived late to Freddy for the game, and what kind of mental state would they have been in? Good call to postpone the game.
