They need to remove the banners that are low and blocking the view, it's gotten ridiculous.
If you sit up high in the corners, you can't see the the press box and a big part of the seating on the opposite side.
The National championship banners are fine, not talking about them.
I usually sit at the visitors end for the first and third and move for the second , I used to go down and sit in section 2 for the second period near the top and you can’t see the score clock anymore in the back 5-6 rows. Pretty sure the banners blocking it are literally “nationals appearances” banners… which I kinda question why you need to begin with lol.

Completely agree....I don't see a need for banners showing National Championship appearances. I would stick to just U Cup banners + AUS titles. Some of that other kind of stuff can just be put on a plaque around the concourse or something. Or, I've noticed there are what appears to be old ad spaces (that were probably back-lit) that are situated at the very top of each section that are currently covered over. Maybe they can utilize that space to highlight some of those "lesser" accomplishments. It might also be a good spot for a "ring of honour" for former players.

They were old ad spaces years ago, I don’t know if they have been uncovered since they used the rink to film the CBC Canada/Russia 72 movie (which if anyone hasn’t watched is really good). That was the same time they painted the walls black which made the rink look 1000x better.
