Anyone know what happened to Carroll last night ? He didn’t play in the third, took me a while to figure out why the D-pairings were all out of whack.

Don't know. Was only told 'officially' this weekend that he left the team. If I was guessing, I could see him going home to PEI.

UNB did put on a furious push in the 3rd, but Capriotti outplayed Richard in nets. UPEI is a very good team, and in games where they get better goaltending than their opponent...
If UPEI can play within the rules they are a tough team to beat. Mixture of skill, grit and solid goaltending.

When the dummies start running guys their game gets sidetracked.

Casey - 8pts in 39 games isn't going to keep you in the line-up if someone else can do a bit better. Sproule has more points in two games than Thomas did in 15. That said - I loved his speed and energy, but you also have to produce.

I'd like to see a small improvement from the bottom half; Carson, Petizian, Baber, Nolet & Nurse. With no one on the team 'leading' the way, they need everyone to contribute.

UPEI - a slow and sloppy 1st period and sub-par game from Richard isn't a recipe for a win.

Interesting in that release Hennigar says they hope both can play this weekend. They have had 21 skaters play in a game thus far this year….you add those two and you are at the cap of 23, leading me to believe Kamerrer isn’t going to play this season.

Anyone expecting to see Kamerrer this season?

What’s the beat on Blagden anyway? Chatter that he was done with hockey. Is he a Boudens 2.0 type? Can’t see big minutes but I’ve been wrong before!

Watched both home games in the comfort of my own home. Didn't want to brave the weather. I continue to be impressed with the UNB broadcast. Quick replays not just for goals but for penalties and regular plays. I think the overhead camera at centre ice is new.

It is early but you can tell that McCallum and Sproule are excellent additions to the team.

Pretty bad game to lose…even with missing the guys to FISU. Up 2-0 at home and no Hawel/Struthers.

Blowing a pair of two goal leads this weekend…quite uncharacteristic. I don’t see the same kind of killer instinct/3rd period dominance of past years.

A lot to work on moving forward, especially defensively after allowing 13 goals in their last three games.

Blame Hennie. This wouldn't happen if Gards was behind the bench.

There are 8 games left for 16 points.

UNB's magic'ish number...
... to clinch a bye is 4 (to pass SMU).
... to clinch 1st place is 5 (to pass UPEI)
... to elimiate SFX from catching up to them is 2
... to elimiate UdeM from catching up to them is .5

Acadia and Dal can not catch UNB
This is funny. I was tooling around last night working on the Exact Same Thing.
I hope you're not looking in my windows
