Not a strong Swedish team by any means, but they certainly lived up to the baffling trend.

It's year after year. Sweden plays the same way whether even, up three, or down one with a minute remaining. No other country plays that way, strong team or not.

Are you kidding me? He was the only one on the Swedish team with a pulse. The rest were passengers, except for Wallstedt, i guess. Andrae might've been trying to do too much, but at least he was trying. The others were about as unimaginative and vanilla as it gets.

How in the hell do the dmen not pinch in the final 3 minutes of the game on a rim around? What are they waiting for?

I wasn't shocked that Finland won, but it could easily have been 5-0. Wallstedt was vg, and had a lot of help from the iron. Sweden, OTOH, had almost no chances to speak off. Their "0" score flattered them.

Andrae was doing too much today because he has been watching his team’s forwards just like the rest of us have.

I’m so pissed that I stayed up for this shitshow. I just absolutely hate Pennanen and his robot hockey. Doesn’t feel good even to win with this crap.

Finland is my second favourite (international) team and I will always cheer for them when not playing Canada. It's been awesome to see their golden age over the last decade. Good luck tomorrow (but not too much, of course).

Finishing is crucial part of the game and Canada was better at it.

What's with the refs not calling anything all of a sudden? Not saying it was the reason that Sweden lost, but it sure was a reason that the scoring was kept so low, the game was so non eventful. I haven't seen that much clutching, interference, slew footing, and grabbing since the 70's.
