take out the 3rd and add a 1st from your side and it’s still a no
Vladimir Tkachev + Andersson + Athanasiou

for

Bertuzzi

The wily Russian sniper would look good next to Larkin. Det gets 3 quality players, one being an absolute playmaker who has 9 points in 5 games in the A. Andersson can be an absolute beast if given the time to mature. He is a true sniper. And Athanasiou, a great role player who is tenacious in the offensive zone. What gets this deal done? Tell me.

No. Wings are not contenders. You are offering up 2 lesser players who are the same age as Bert and a tweener. At least offer up some good young players/picks.

And wiley Russian sniper? Which one is that. None of what you offered is a sniper.

Stop trying to take a dump in a box with a guarantee on. Cause it is just a guaranteed piece of shit.

He indeed is a sniper. Could be the next Panarin. If I was Det I'd take the deal and run.

I have read a few sentences. I think:

“Miller, Kravtsov, + a 1st for Bertuzzi” – The Rangers are overpaid.

”Kravtsov + a 1st for Bertuzzi” - The Rangers are underpaid.
I think it doesn't suit Detroit. Detroit has no need to change Tyler Bertuzzi on this deadline. Exchange is possible upon receipt of good compensation.
Kravtsov is now a risky asset. I think today's player value is OA30-45. The Rangers suggest approximately – 1st (OA20-OA28) + 2nd. For this price, the player can be traded in the 2023 deadline.
Of course, things can change. The cost of the players is not constant.

I think a more balanced proposal is:
Lundkvist or Schneider + 1st for Bertuzzi (@50% ret). Or a player of similar value.
Now Lundkvist or Schneider > > Kravtsov. Taking less now, there is no point for Steve Yzerman.
Is it not suitable for Rangers? Do the Rangers have other options?
Perhaps there is:

Rangers Roundup: Drury looking for a "middle six" forward; Nemeth's struggles continue; and more

Rangers wing targets to balance the lineup - Blue Seat Blogs

Detroit has other options too. Both teams go their own way.

That’s funny, i proposed an exact same type of trade you did in another thread. Bertuzzi at 2.5 million is worth a lot in the eastern conference. Imo easily worth a 1st and a blue chip prospect. He’s on another level now as a player.

I'm not sure if this kind of exchange makes sense for the Rangers.

They take such a player: the chances in the Stanley Cup increase and the chances of the correct development of young players decrease.

They do not take such a player: the chances in the Stanley Cup decrease and the chances of the correct development of young players increase.

What's best for the Rangers? This is a big question.
I don't know.

Look at his regular season totals and his playoff totals in the KHL. Guy could be a great complementary piece in the NHL. Great playmaking skills.

So is this 26yo AHL player the next Panarin? Or is he a complementary piece? And do you really think that Bertuzzi is really only worth 2 AHL players and a worse NHL player?

Kings should only make a move for Bert if the are contenders, which they don’t look to be. Wings need center prospects, so start there.

On what planet is Tyler Bertuzzi worth Miller, Kravtsov, a 1st, and even more?
He’s not. Bert is a good player but he’s not signed long term and he’s got that vaccine issue.

not sure why Detroit trades him anyway since their first line is playing so well. Why mess with good chemistry and fans enjoying their team a bit.

Bumping this thread as our (wings) fanbase is pretty split on what we do with him. I’d say a lot of us want to keep him but his vaccination status and going to arbitration this off season means he might be leaving regardless. I think he’s easily easily worth a first and good prospect. At this rate the only team you’d have to worry about playing him against in the playoffs is toronto.

Don't see what this does for Detroit but as long as we are giving up scraps why not ad Grundstrom and Maatta?
