Mediocre game by Rask, cant really blame him for the loss though.
It was a pretty epic screen by McAvoy on the 3-2 goal. 3-3 Goal was just an insane play by Karlsson. First goal by Sens was a really good play to.
Last goal, should have gloved it for sure. But the whole team just fell apart in the OT and they didnt get a chance to collect themselves before it was to late.

Not really: Rask saw the puck. Still, today's loss isn't on the goalie.

I thought the 2nd goal was screened. Caught a glimpse at the last second but he didn't have time to react. Could live without the staredown of the 18 year old logging huge minutes. His play was strong until that point so I didn't really question it that much. Could be wrong.

If anything, his play in OT was probably the most meh part of his game for me.

Still, to me that's a team loss through and through. A lot went poorly for this team, not on one guy.

Although I don't blame Rask for today's loss, it would be nice if he could be more "consistent" in net.

I'm pretty sure that Rask would admit that he could've played much better today.

Just stop the one you should be stopping when you are an "elite" goalie. Lets start with those and we will move on to the more dramatic saves.

So, just to be clear, you're saying to be an elite goalie, you can't ever let in a questionable goal?

second goal was bad.

he saw it. but it dipped and went under his arm.

Holy Easter bunny

Holtby gave up soft goals

Only goalie in league I would take over Rask is Price

No not at all, its just this " elite" goalie lets in many questionable goals in many big games. Not to mention big games he bagged out of.

agreed, ironically, only one of those 4 listed can go to parties wearing a big shiny ring too and before the crowd chimes in asking how many playoff games he won, lest we forget the terrific season he had as part of the tandem with Timmy

Sarcastic reply as usual  None of us are experts because we wouldn't be here to vent, right or wrong if we where.

To bad we couldn't have the GM's around the league take a vote. Then again some of them are idiots so who knows.

I guess the Bruins played TT over Random Task against all the bad teams in 2010-2011 ?

TT 35 11 9
TR 11 14 2

I've kept my stance on Rask for many years now as I don't believe he is as "elite" as some here think. I also think the Bruins would be better off to deal him now and get a good return and find a new goalie at a cheaper price tag. He has a limited NMC now so maybe it's time!!

I like to call it the Jekyll and Rask and we saw what he's capable of in game 1 and once again as game 2
2 got near the end the moment seemed to be to big for him. If that soft second goal does not go in I think Bruins win that game as that goal gave Ottawa so much life.

Goal 2 and 4 should have been stopped..

However I do not blame him for the loss that was a total team loss/meltdown

On to the next!!
