It's Frank's world. We just live in it,

One of my favorite hole in the wall restaurants in Chicago. Frank liked it too. @Fenway is probably familiar with it. Its worth checking out if you're in town for the Bruins-Hawks game on December 4 and you like ribs....

On a completely unrelated note, radio stations started playing Christmas music a week ago. Nothing can get me down at this point. My car radio has not switched to a different channel one time.

And no, I don't give one single f*** that Thanksgiving hasn't occurred yet.

I was in Texas this weekend, for a reunion with my college buddies from the 80s. We were sitting on the back deck about 6-7 bourbons in and around 2am the topic of conversation switched to the Worst Christmas Song Ever Made....don't ask me why.

Our consensus was: Happy Christmas/War is Over by John Lennon and Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time by Paul McCartney.

We found it ironic that 2 of the greatest songwriters on arguably the greatest Rock N Roll band ever, completely whiffed on their Christmas songs....

I’ll wait until after Thanksgiving to move to the Christmas channels on XM but it always makes me happy when the local stations start playing it.

Our Christmas cards came in today, I’ll probably turn some tunes on this weekend to start getting them ready to mail.

Don't miss November's full moon. It's the last supermoon you'll see for a long time.

The Supermoon this Friday, November 15, 2024, should be a spectacular celestial event, offering skywatchers an extraordinary view of the Moon as it reaches its closest approach to Earth in its orbit.

This phenomenon, also known as a "perigee full moon," occurs when the Moon is both full and at perigee, the closest point to Earth in its elliptical orbit. On this date, the Moon will appear up to 14% larger and 30% brighter than when it's at its farthest point, called apogee.

This will be the fourth and final "supermoon" of 2024. The Supermoon was the closest to our planet in October of this year. It came within 222,055 miles of Earth.

Supermoons are especially striking when the weather cooperates, as they illuminate the night sky with an intense, silvery glow. In 2024, the November supermoon will also be close to the Earth’s horizon, which can make it appear even larger, a visual illusion known as the "moon illusion." This effect occurs when the Moon is seen near trees, buildings, or other objects, amplifying its size compared to when it is higher in the sky.

We have actually gotten more heat sensitive....hate it..

Above 70 AC comes on

Said her feet were cold so she turned on the heat....to 64

We have ours set to 64 during the day, 62 at night. That plus the gas fireplace in the living room is plenty.

It is WAY too early for Christmas songs. It ruins them...makes them not special

We used to do 58 at night, but it took awhile to come back up to 62, so we moved it to 60

We have programmable so it comes on at 4pm to 64, then down again at 10 pm to 60, 6 am backing to 62
