Not a fan of the McCartney song, but War is Over is amazing... lolI was in Texas this weekend, for a reunion with my college buddies from the 80s. We were sitting on the back deck about 6-7 bourbons in and around 2am the topic of conversation switched to the Worst Christmas Song Ever Made....don't ask me why.
Our consensus was: Happy Christmas/War is Over by John Lennon and Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time by Paul McCartney.
We found it ironic that 2 of the greatest songwriters on arguably the greatest Rock N Roll band ever, completely whiffed on their Christmas songs....
