On a completely unrelated note, radio stations started playing Christmas music a week ago. Nothing can get me down at this point.

Not a fan of the McCartney song, but War is Over is amazing... lolI was in Texas this weekend, for a reunion with my college buddies from the 80s. We were sitting on the back deck about 6-7 bourbons in and around 2am the topic of conversation switched to the Worst Christmas Song Ever Made....don't ask me why.
Our consensus was: Happy Christmas/War is Over by John Lennon and Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time by Paul McCartney.

It is WAY too early for Christmas songs. It ruins them...makes them not specialI’ll wait until after Thanksgiving to move to the Christmas channels on XM but it always makes me happy when the local stations start playing it.
Our Christmas cards came in today, I’ll probably turn some tunes on this weekend to start getting them ready to mail.

We used to do 58 at night, but it took awhile to come back up to 62, so we moved it to 60We have ours set to 64 during the day, 62 at night. That plus the gas fireplace in the living room is plenty.
