TSN's coverage of the World Juniors: Fair and balanced? Or unreasonable and biased?

They're covering the quarters like it's a 9 hour preview of the Canada game.

I’ve felt that all the talk about breaking Eberles and Lindros’s records to be pretty nauseating. They keep going on and on about it. If Bedard was breaking Forsberg record, I’d understand it more. But they just keep beating the drum. This is more on the panel portion of it but it’s creeped into the commentating.

I think Miller and Beyak do a good job though. I don’t care much for the panel.

I mean....what Bedard is doing is historic lol there is absolutely no reason Bedard wouldn't be the talk of the tournament. I feel like it is better to just enjoy a historic thing as it is happening rather then complain about the attention it is getting. It could be decades before we see a prospect perform like Bedard is in this tournament.

To me.. the narrative (other than Bedard) should be first team to win a back to back since Canada in 2008 and 2009 (and 2007, 2006 and 2005). No one has won a back to back since the 5peat! NO ONE. Canada can do it by Thursday on top of a historic Bedard run.

Well hopefully TSN will mention the Austrian team during the Gold Medal presentation to seem more un- biased if Canada does win and not dwell on their victory ..,

I’ll admit he took a little getting used to as he took on the Sens regional games.

He has a very dry, dark and cynical sense of humour which takes awhile to appreciate but is actually pretty funny.

We used to have Ferraro with Cuthbert which was sort of the dream team but Miller and Noodles and/or Johnson is great too.

Well, at least you don’t have Kevin Sawyer who talks waaay to much as colour and is generally lame at best. Dan Robertson PP guy and John Lui Host are fantastic though.

No, but if Canada beats Slovakia in a few hours.. it'd be cool if they showed the Canadian anthem after the win, right? Maybe show the 3 Slovaks being awarded their players of the tourney?

Conversely, if they somehow lose, it'd be respectful to show the Slovak anthem and the 3 Canadian players of the game.
