I just scanned over it and knew it would raise some good “conversation”haha im so hockey starved i still read the entire article
You think it’s a good list then? It’s actually terribad.Folks once again stunned that the analytics guys like Toronto, part 69
Its not "TSN." TSN has tons of personalities that regularly trash the Leafs, if you watched their free agency show it was absurd.
The problem is the nerds. It's whenever Dom or Yost ranks things, you guys get so mad.
ExactlyFirst off, that might not even be Pittsburgh's LW depth this season if Rakell plays LW on Malkin's line.
Second, how the hell is the Pens' depth worse than Toronto's? Jake Guentzel alone puts them ahead.
What a pointless list in the first place. What are they even trying to prove here? Most wingers aren't locked into their side, and every team will have MANY players playing LW over the course of the season.
But yeah... then the rankings. And yes, lol at Toronto, they are worse than every tier 5 team except for Chicago.
Are they taking into account that he’s going to miss the first few months of the season so they don’t list him?Marchand has been locked into Bergeron's LW for 10+ years. Almost exclusively. There's absolutely no excuse for leaving him off the list. Only Kane, Mackinnon, Draisaitl, and McDavid have more points over the past 5 seasons.... So either A) he was forgotten/missed or for some reason, or B) they're considering him a RW for the purpose of this list. Both stink of lazy/poor journalism and give the entire thing a lack of credibility.
The problem is the nerds. It's whenever Dom or Yost ranks things, you guys get so mad.
Thoughts? A couple interesting placements.

Travis Yost: Grading every NHL team's left wing depth | TSN
Starting today, we will unveil a multi-piece series grading every team’s lineup across the positional groups in tiered fashion. We will analyze the depth charts across all positions and create talent tiers for all 32 franchises. For the opener, we will start at left wing.www.tsn.ca
I agree, I am a big Leafs fan and our LW depth is not top 15, IMO I would say 18-21st but lets do RW and center next lolHahahahha. Ok TSN. Bunting, Kerfoot, Engvall, Simmons is no doubt the envy of most of the NHL. You've done it again. Certainly better than Marchand, Hall, Debrusk, Foligno/Frederic according to the best minds in sports.
And better than Ehlers, Connor, Barron and Harkins in Winnipeg too!!!! ahahahahahaha. You'd think they have to be trolling at this point but these homers really believe it.
Going by the left wingers, Leafs C and RW will likely be on a lower tier lol.I agree, I am a big Leafs fan and our LW depth is not top 15, IMO I would say 18-21st but lets do RW and center next lol
