Brady Tkachuk, Josh Norris and Shane Pinto all skated this morning, but head coach Travis Green confirmed that they would not be drawing into tonight’s lineup. Additionally, Green announced that Linus Ullmark will be getting the start in net.​

At forward your guess is as good as mine, but Jenik and Crookshank will play. We're also going 11-7 again because it's worked out really well the last three games.

You'd think with 3of our best 6 forwards and 2 of our top 3 centers out we'd give Belleville's highest scoring forward, who happens to also be a center, a shot.

Seems Green really doesn't like Halliday. If the kid can't garner a callup over the likes of Highmore, Crookshank and Jenik in this situation, not sure he ever will.

Batherson should be coming into this game with a huge chip on his shoulder. I’d like to see him foaming at the mouth like a rabid dog.

Hard on the puck, finishing checks, taking care of the small details. I’m not saying he should be so aggressive he gets out of position, but after last game you have to think he should be playing angry and clearing some of that egg on his face.

We will almost certainly be out played overall, but with elite goaltending and being opportunistic we can still steal 2 points. We match up decently against the wild.

Bruce Garrioche listened into the Thomas Chabot interview in French and here are his notes:

- Thomas Chabot wants to rip Mark Schieffles arms off and wave to the CTC crowd with them, and then go down the Jets bench high fiving the players with it

- Thomas Chabot broke into the Jets team bus and farted on the pillows

- Thomas Chabot said Ridley Greig and Drake are making a song together called. “We Senzed the Super Bowl”

I don't think Drake Batherson has ever approached a game like this in his life. He'll be the same guy he always is. If his moves work, great. If they don't, oh well... but he'll still try them.

On the day of that we acquired Chychrun, the team was 31-26-4 (.500 pts%).

Today, the team is 29-24-4 (.500 pts%).

In 2023, we ended up going in the tank and missing the playoffs by 6 points.

What are we going to do the rest of the way this year? We're currently on a 4 game losing streak...
 
I feel the Sens could surprise us in this game

Edit: scratch that, just read they’re going 11/7 again. For reference our overall team defence has been hot garbage since we started playing this combination

The way they’re playing is very reminiscent of that same stretch. Wheels completely falling off. That said, I don’t remember us at any point being in a playoff position that season so let’s hope they’ve learned a thing or two along the way

We were 4 pts out of a wildcard on the day we acquired Chychrun, with 3 games in hand on the WC2 Islanders.
 
We were way too open with information during the Dorion Era but it seems to me the pendulum was swung a little too hard in the other direction.

It would be nice to know WTF is going on with our star players. I thought Pinto was close to playing like three weeks ago?

Don't think we can win this, but the effort has to be there and we have to be ready going forward. Another BS effort like Saturday won't bode well.

Green would do himself a favor if he also didn't answer the "what's the status of this player" questions in such a condescending manner.
