Trivia Question

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

NY Rangers

I was there, I saw it all with my own eyes.

The Red Wings did sweep the Canadiens in Finals during their dynasty, so I guess the Wings are one of these teams, by virtue of Game 4 being an away game for the team with ice advantage.

So...
Maroons at least once and Red Wings once.

EDIT : ... I suspect the 1926 Stanley Cup Final was held in Montreal. after the Maroons had beaten whoever they played in Finals (Sens?) in the NHL finals which wasn't the Stanley Cup Final. So.. I guess, but :

Maroons, 1926
Maroons, 1935?
Red Wings, 1952?

Your eyes were right, NY Rangers is the final team we're looking for. 1928.

Wings are incorrect.

Wings are incorrect.
...What the hell, the Wings did indeed lead the NHL RS and won in 4, but after looking at HR, it appears games 1 and 2 were played in Montreal, with games 3 and 4 at Detroit.

Suggestion: Let's keep this thread alive, whomever answers correctly first must ask another trivia question.

I'll go: Who are the only two habs players to score at least 60 goals in a season?

We have a winner, congratulations!

Another acceptable answer could have been:
''I come from the future and the question is flawed, both Caufield and Slaf scored 60 goals too in the 2028-2029 season, leading to our 25th Stanley Cup.'' ;)

2023. They did have some good games, at least I enjoyed watching some including the one with the Tiger Williams act from Pezzetta.
i was just joking, you know . Joking . I think that this team has been entertaining for a while in fact. Even during the Stanley Cup run they were good to see. I will repeat myself, but The Habs are better then. what we have seen last 3 seasons, because of all those injuries. Beating the record of the NHL one time was already a special thing, but we did it again last season.

I think that a lot of fans are going to be surprised by the Habs if they can be in health as much as the other teams.
