When Morenz won MVP in 1928 he said Nighbor was the better player. And that was an older Nighbor. but both of German descent, he was obviously his hero. Morenz would rush and backcheck, Nighbor would lie in the weeds defensively and make breakout passes. Very different type players. Like McDavid vs a powered up Bergeron.
Little bit of difficult one here. Dobes was 5th Habs goalie to record shutout in first NHL game. Who were other four?
All these Habs fans nobody knows them? I give ya couple of hints. Last one was Yan Danis in 2006. Before him it was done in 1970s
