I look at who's performing or not. Given Freddy had 18 goals and 40 points last year, and the expectation was that he could and should finally break 20/40+, this year is problematic, no? He simply hasn't been good enough. Especially since they've given him time at center (his preferred spot) and he's been brutal at the dot there. He also gets PPTOI, despite a lack of production. So there's a lot to be critical of with regards to his play.

As for blaming the goalies, it's lazy and hack, IMO. Both guys are literally around the same. You can quibble with salary, but that's misdirected because the defense playing in front of both guys is trash 99.999% of the time. If they were playing stellar defense and then Sway had drastically worse numbers than his battery mate, I could get that argument. But as it is, this is a defensive issue, not a net play issue.

Last I checked -5.9 saves above expected while Korpisalo was above water behind the same defense says otherwise.
