Is there any other reading? Definitely possible that he heard the subway goal horn that day and demanded a trade from the bench as a result.

We can only speculate as to the 'Why?'

My hunch is it must be some kind of degenerative illness if it is Family related. I'm guessing it is an illness/diagnosis with a timeline and some doctor has given a loved one 3-5 years. Could be completely wrong about it but it's my shot in the dark.

He is not Evander Kane or ROR, Hammer is a hi character guy and the fact that he is willing to play the season with us does help. Believe that Snow is in NO HURRY to move him. Might even explain why many of us were convinced the organization was making him 'our stud'. Hopefully he stays healthy and can help us out on a deep playoff run. If we are on the outside looking in come the deadline, then he is moved then.

Snow is actually not in as bad of a position as we may have initially thought. This is a step backward for the team, he is literally our only homegrown top-4 D Man (I'm still not sold on CdH if you haven't figured that out). I really don't want Eberle because for a little more we could keep Okposo who I prefer.
