Management Travis Green [Head Coach]

Anyone who has ever played organized sports knows that you don't always get along with everyone on your team & shit happens sometimes between teammates. Most of the time you can get past certain instances, but sometimes teammates move on because of it, it's the nature of sports. Nothing in this world is kumbaya.

Yep. I can’t say that I like half the people I work with, especially dudes in their early 20s. Claude is probably pulling out his hair dealing with these young millionaires.

so when JM went to a microphone and said “you got outplayed by the oldest player on the team, how can you be outplayed by a guy who’s 36?” - was that to make Brady feel good or to challenge him and make him uncomfortable and done to the media to call him out?
No it wasn’t geared at Brady, that’s you speculating like the other poster said, and you wanting to take a shot at only Brady again.

As JM said, “a lot of guys should look in the mirror.”
They have to decide what they want to be.
It was a lesson learned about how hard you have to compete, how hard you have to play”.

We know Brady plays hard.

100%. I feel like an alien hanging out with 20 year olds.

I scrimmaged with a team of young guys last year and they literally had a session of "practicing their cellies". I couldn't believe my eyes. The shit was almost enough to make me walk off the ice. Tap gloves and get the f*** off the ice, maybe show some excitement, but this dancing business is just abysmal imo. Gave me some real old man feelings.

Damn those young, amateur hockey players for having fun!

Brady’s an adult, Captain of an NHL team, paid big money to be in front - it’s okay the team critiques him and his team they had a terrible culture and he wasn’t backchecking seriously and they were losing massively.

Doesn’t mean you dont like him, doesn’t mean you’re taking shots at him, just means he needed a wake up call

That has nothing to do with what I said, I was just showing you, Staois never mentioned Brady, he mentioned a lot of guys, in your quote, but you twisted it to Brady somehow like usual.

a lot of guys should look in the mirror

So why did you change what was in the quote?
Where is the name Brady in that quote? That’s all I said, nothing more.

Brent Wallace apparently said Yeo and Nolan Baumgartner will be hired. The latter is 100% a Green pick.

Yeo is a a solid hire, like Green he is said to instill accountability (on/off ice), so they don't mind being pricks (and being nice to those that are playing their roles). He will improve the structure and development of the backline.

I have seen Baumgartner play, not much aware of his coaching resume but it does seem like Capuano is done.

Maybe Alfie goes back to the player development role, I don't see him being an assistant but Alfie knows best and does what he does.

I fully acknowledge I am the curmudgeon. I just can't relate, at all.

Especially after the whole Greig stuff with the "code". Like that was some egregious thing but guys dancing around to show up their opponent is basically common place now.
The Leafs players would've felt obligated to be outraged by the Greig thing. I'm sure that virtually every NHL player under the age of 28 thought it was hilarious.

Fair. That was such a strange phenomenon to me to see the outrage from every analyst while guys like Methot and Biron argue that the modern day cellie's are above board in comparison.

Just not my style to celebrate I guess, but I'm pretty stoic. That and I'm a flippin Senators fan, so I've been conditioned to expect to lose, so ain't no trash talk comin outta this mouth lol. I ate that hard back against the Leafs and said never again.

So I am assuming Capuano is out as a coach. Has anyone heard anything about Capuano?
Baumgartner, Yeo, Mr. Green Jeans ( Travis), and possibly Alfie is who Brent Wallace was talking about on Coming in Hot
