Where is Neighbours?
63. Has had multiple good rushes, hits, had a very good pass from the left wing back to the right point, and was the guy who put up the perfect screen for the powerplay goal.
Where is Neighbours?
- Washkurak (40) - Laferriere (58)
Neighbours (63) - Alexandrov (59) - McGing (56)
McCallum (82) - Dicksinson (78) - Gillen (88)
Guy (67) - Joshua (54) - Toropchenko (65)
Tucker (75) - Perunovich (48)
Looks like none of our forwards really doesn't stand out clear potential. Perunovich and Tucker are easy picks.
I like Washkurak. Mini-Steener. I think he pans out as a depth player. Neighbors might not end up as a top-6 guy, but I like his game, too, he has an NHL future. Dickinson has shown some good stuff, too.
agree. He seems to shine most of forward group with Laferriere who imo looks really good too.Washkurak is a nice surprise He’s just sold all the way around and plays smart
Washkurak reminds me of Vladdy Sobotka, nearly same size as well.
Liking Neighbours, reminds me some of a young Oshie without the flash. Needs 2 years more of development but I can see him being a valuable middle-6 forward.
Ellis looked very sharp. He looked a LOT better than Hofer. I have higher hopes that he'll be The Blues' backup than Husso, within the next couple years.Really liking Ellis in goal. He's got real potential.
I don't know you guys, but Guy has been quite impressive in these 2 games.

Good thing is he can dropp the mitts too.
I agree all, but I didn't see on Neighbours anything special. Sluggish and with his speed hard to see him have anything special vs. pro's. Has to work hard on his skating if he wants to be NHL'er. Fall as bad as Alexandrov. Our kids played really well tonight. Our prospect depth is really underrated. Thoughts on some of our forwards:
Alexandrov- He has been very quiet so far. I expected more from him. Not saying he won't be good player, but he has long way to go. Probably biggest disappointment for me.
Dickinson- One of only 2 2020 picks for us here, so keep in mind he is really young. Shows flashes. Obviously a long way from NHL, but he definitely has a chance to be bottom 6 guy.
Joshua- A presence with his size and physical play. He's never gonna be more than 4th liner, and question whether he can even be good one at that, but decent depth option.
Laferriere- He looks pretty good. Decent size, shows nice speed and hands. Look forward to what he can do as pro. He has a chance to be decent middle 6 player down the road if he is willing to put the work in.
McGing- He was really good tonight. Seems to do lots of things well. He has real chance to be quality 3rd liner in a couple years.
Neighbours- He was much better tonight. Looked much more comfortable. Asserted himself all over ice. Showed excellent hands, good awareness, super physicality. Really excited for his potential as top 6 power winger. Probably a year away.
Toropchencko- He was quietly good. Love the size and speed. Not much skill but he has a chance to be 4th liner in a couple years.
Washkurak- I like him. Good speed and energy and a bit bigger than I thought. Like his potential as bottom 6 guy in a couple years.
It can be misleading but they have Neighbours at 5’11”/6’ and standing next to perunovich they look roughly around the same height. Who knows nowadays…After McGing scored, he and Perunovich were lined up talking to each other. McGing looks bigger than Perunovich. Just something I noticed.... I agree that he made some pretty nonchalant passes that lead to turnovers, but all and all he seemed to be up to the defense task with the Red Wings prospects. I sure hope it translates to the AHL level this year. I think he needs a year to see what he can get away with at the AHL level and what he can't moving forward... I really liked the play of Tucker and Luce to keep the Red Wings forwards off their game. I just see some bottom six potential from some of our forwards...pretty meh... The goalie excited me more than anyone else. He was steady and up to the task.
