I still like the positives more than the negatives lol.

What was I expecting? What did I want to see?

More or less all boxes checks, well expect Joey Keane who got a little rattled,

Henriksson has been great. So many good plays with the puck.

Reunanen is looking great.

Fox poise is super special, but like small marginal player and zero chemistry linemates will cost ya, but so what.

Robertson moves well, can take the body.

Kravy is in need of a little adjustment, but really he is just trying to do a bit too much and not having a great night. Nobody can do it by themselves and CBJ are totally collapsing every time that line hits the ice.

Some people have been tooting Shesty as the second coming, its been over the top but if you had listened to the right ppl that wouldn’t have been any news. He has been a backup the last three years to so-so keepers like Hellberg and the likes.

That doesn’t mean that the kid isn’t talented and skilled. Like a fine wine. But he isn’t ready to play in the NHL.

And let’s not make a too big deal of a few pucks finding the back of the net Early september.

Who else? Maybe I missed someone. We have three lines with players I’ve almost not heard of.

Shestyorkin hasn’t been a backup, but expecting a goalie to instantly be comfortable with the angles of a different ice surface behind a team that hasn’t practiced while they haven’t played a game in over 3-4 months is a huge ask

He's been beaten on rushes and 1-on1's, though.

That's fair...tho you'd assume he'd be working on that all summer long...

Only thing to watch for now is a Brett Kemp hatty.

The speed, the angles of shots, and the traffic in front. Three big things Shesterkin will need to adjust to. I'm always labeled anti-Shesterkin when I bring it up, but it IS a thing.

Definitely, I think the transition from Europe to NA is by far the hardest for the goalies making the jump
