Still trying to thread the needle on the PP. Fox passed up a shot opportunity from the right point early in the PP.

Oof 6-1. CBJ looks organized and we look like we have 0 chemistry

Definitely this. There is almost nothing to be gleaned from this game. I can’t even imagine the scouts and coaches can take anything away from this. We look like a bunch of individual kids each hoping to get one highlight reel with absolutely zero cohesiveness or unit play. Columbus’s squad looks like they came to play actual hockey. We also look lazy and one thing that I’ve always wondered over when it comes to our organization is if we’re a little bit too “first class” when it comes to making these kids feel like they’re at a country club. It looks like one team is playing for something and one team’s just... there. I won’t criticize any single players or even pretend I’m getting anything from watching this. I can’t take anything I’m seeing seriously because these guys are barely playing hockey. This isn’t indicative of their talent, readiness or anything else. But it does look like we did a very poor job preparing.

Hunter Skinner got bodied off the puck rather easily there.

I’m finding it hard to care about what’s going on as much as some of you do, but I’ve also expected this sort of thing for months now

I don’t think anyone been bad, well maybe Keane is having one of those nights, but besides him I think everyone are playing well.

It’s just hockey. We have a top line and D heavy team, try to rely on those aren’t easy when you don’t have a lot of chemistry. One team gets a few easy bounces, you try to start to do a bit too much.

We could be playing an U18 team, it’s never easy to score in hockey when you face 4-5 guys taking away all the ice infront of the net. They are up a number of goals and have all the patince in the world, we are stressing it.

No big deal at all from my POV.

Right about now, Joe would be saying that it's tough to win games with Zibanejad, Kreider, Buchnevich, Vesey, Spooner, Namestnikov, DeAngelo, Staal, Skjei, Fast, Shattenkirk, and Chytil all out of the lineup.
