Maybe. In your honest opinion, would he be tolerable paired with Power? Because that’s the upgrade the Sabres really need, and his (Miko’s) offence is irrelevant.

he is at his best when he is paired with partner who can move puck. like if he doesn't have to do anything other than quick pass to partner. he looked terrible with bortuzzo and struggles with parayko (who surprisingly can't pass), but has been good with leddy, faulk, and rosen. i haven't seen enough of sabres to know where power is at this point, but seems like would be a nice fit as miko's defensive skill is actually first rate. but i just don't trust us to put him in a position to succeed when we have so many enticing other options to mess him up.
