I don’t think he’d be guaranteed playing time anywhere. Think the Rangers are one of the teams with the weaker 4th line options and the most opportunity for a guy like Vesey.

I think its as much simple non icetime stuff
Lotta college and other friends in NYC area and NE, familiarity, easier travel in NE, and a contender.
but also, one Camp, or early season, injury to a critical F, and much opportunity arises

Two things to follow:

1. If you want to send a signal to the players as a coach that you intend to have their backs, you can do what Gallant did last season when he raved about all players being in fantastic shape in camp when we know for a fact that wasn't quite true (re at least Panarin).

Will Gallant keep the same approch for this camp?

2. Perhaps a little less serious, but why haven't we seen any fat pictures of Kakko this time? In fact, we haven't seen any pictures of him at all. @Amazing Kreiderman please account for your whereabouts since May 22 up until and including today.

Put some advertising behind it, have tge organization and media bring it up in interviews or articles, put a low earning announcing intern on it.

Dolan can throw some cash at it. Hell he can play the halftime show live and convince himself every1 tuned in for him. He'll maybe even learn a thing of two about hockey...like that there's no halftime
