So I blew out my ankle when I was 18 and like I said earlier I didn’t feel normal again for 2-3 years. I wasn’t a professional athlete but I wasn’t a tubby either. Just a college football recruit. Let’s hope it’s not that bad.

It's only preseason Kings will play better once the Season gets going. Remember we are going to finish 3rd in the division and we are without our top guns Lizotte, Lemeiux, and.....my goodness how depressing.

I broke my fibula back in 2013 in a similar incident with my foot up against the boards. It was an 8-10 week recovery period and then a month or two of rehab. I was skating again in like four months, but I wasn't a professional athlete dedicating myself to rehabbing the injury. If it's a broken fibula, he'll probably be back on the ice before the end of this calendar year.

If they think Kupari can step in, they haven't been paying attention this pre-season. Kupari hasn't shown anything close to what QB did in one game.

Everything else is subsidiary, Byfield was about to force the Kings to not send him down, everything happening getting better on every shift. put in all the work all summer, through covid...so unfair.

Of course the team fell apart after, they fell apart after Roy got split open, worst thing to happen is to have everyone watching this kid channel prime Malkin only to get his ankle caught. f***.

Expect more injuries to happen...this team is limp, play with no heart and the coach is clueless. Just hoping to see Vilardi flourish this year and 1 or 2 prospects called up on the roster during the season.

I almost cried. We were pretty much witnessing the second coming of a 'better skating' 19 year old Kopitar and then that?

I say don't put Lizotte in there and give Kupari or Turcotte a shot. I was loving the idea of having a talented, hungry rookie
centering line 4, over the Lizotte option. Byfield was creating chances every shift and could have had 2 goals.
I can see Turcotte having success in this role....or give Kupari a shot. Would also rather have JAD there over Lizotte.

Lizotte is not bad, but was loving the dynamic of seeing talent out there, that can change a game, rather than just
relentless energy...

Yup. Extra frustrating this early in his career as it's a developmental setback too. If he loses another half year...so frustrating. Just when he was starting to really steamroll. Even the 'he hasnt impressed me' folks were coming around, lol.
