I think Robertson beats out Malgin by a hair and it comes down to Kerfoot and Tavares' health vs Malgin. Obviously only considering Malgin over Kerfoot for cap compliant reasons.

1. With Kerfoot and Tavares healthy. = Malgin cut.

Simmons is by far the worst sports writer in the history of sports writing. I don’t even know why people read his stuff or how he even have a job and given assess to teams.

It allows for better teams to get a chance at him. Maybe the avs want him, but they are 32, in the waiver order.

Okay, I know we all hate Steve Simmons but is he really entirely wrong here? No one is saying Aliu hasn't faced racism throughout his life or career. I don't believe Simmons is saying that either. He's saying not everything about the way his career ended up is due to racism...Aliu has never been known to be a good guy or nice guy. The guy takes absolutely zero accountability for anything, or him not being that great of a hockey player. Both things can be true here.

Simmons shouldn't have spoke on Simmonds or used Simmonds but it's an interesting point. Simmonds has faced racism and has still always been known as a stand up teammate...Aliu not so much. You can be black, face racism, and also not be a good guy or a good hockey player. All four things can be true. Being black and facing racism doesn't suddenly make the other two things irrelevant.
