my god.....one typo or mistake on Kakko's name, and people cant wait to jump on such a stupid an irrelevant thing. Whats the big f***ing deal?

and people are indicting the whole organization for it.

"[as proof that team staff are incompetent, indifferent or spiteful]"............really? I hope your boss holds you to the same standard.
i agree with you about a whole lotta exaggerated reactions,
my parenthetical comment was 'playing to the cheap seats'

i am not much entitled or judgmental
(altho coming into a 3rd season now, where Comcast has dropped MSG (er MSG dropped Comcast?), pisses me off
I have a family-enabled back-door, but as the viewing thread shows, not everyone does)

but there is a consistent pattern of sloppiness
the standard from the best bosses I've had was
" 'mistakes happen' but do your best to not make the same mistake twice"

they're not cranking out a multi-section daily newspaper,
a second set of eyes, a fact-check, another review before pressing commit/send,
could avoid much of the carelessness that repeatedly catches attention

The only thing that has me excited at all for this season is the idea this core as constructed has had ZERO structure since maybe ever. Really curious to see what they look like with a real coach.

But I am still so disgusting with the way last season ended it’s really hard for me to get excited for them right now. I personally don’t care what Panarin does until April at this point.

On September 13, Alexis Lafreniere was asked to remove himself from his place of residence; that request came from his roommate. Deep down, he knew it was right, but he also knew that some day he would return. With nowhere else to go, he appeared at the same-building apartment of his friend, Ryan Lindgren. Several years earlier, Ryan's roommate had thrown HIM out, requesting that HE never return. Can two thrown-out hockey players share an apartment without driving each other crazy?
Brilliant!

He said assistant captain. Fire this coach immediately!

"My eyes are wide open," Laviolette said Wednesday from the MSG Training Center. "The staff’s eyes are wide open. Come in here and take what you want – push for what you want – and I'm sure we won't miss it."

I may have PTSD but this quote makes me think anyone with a motor will be here opening night, only to piss us off with flubs and giveaways night in and out. Hopefully this was meant for the young kids

I mean you admit it, but this is quite the takeaway from what is really generic coach speak.

I already like Laviolette more than Vigneault, Quinn, and Gallant.

I need to see on the ice what he says. If a guy shows something then the opportunity needs to be there, not just words. But having seen him as a coach with rivals, and certain things he's saying, he doesn't come across as full of crap, or over his head, or just happy to be there.

I am very intrigued with what he and his staff will do.

There was just not a lot of accountability from them. Got wrecked but "had some good looks", or "made some good plays",

Im gonna reserve judgement until we see the on ice product. I was happy with gallant until it was clear what he said and what he did were two very different things.

I feel you.

Theres always another season, a reason to believe.

But the way they went out last year - they need to earn it back
