Someone just needs to bump that thread. Not me, I wanted Stutzle from day one.

This is some of the weirdest shit I've ever read on here. Farsi? It does hurt to watch this young guy who is a poor communicator ( russian or farsi was probably his first language) Get worked over by todd/ blake and the system for being different. It always surprizes me the hypocrisy of the "new, inclusive nhl" in regards to an awkward young man while an entire organization basically gets a pass for ignoring and thereby enabling an active violent sexual predator (adios mr wertz). It seems "you CAN play" applies to all except if youre a nervous young man that communicates poorly.
I have to be careful with allowing my own youthful experiences as a young man to transfer too much of arty's experience. If i let it, it could really negatively affect me and my very long status as a fan of the kings. My morale as fan is already at an all time low with present mgmt.
I look forward to following arty's career wherever it goes. It looks pretty bleak here and as i have written in multiple other places. Arty would probably be better off being traded elsewhere. Its obvious to the most casual observer the idiot kings mgmt dont realize whst they have in this guy.
Also, thank you for so eloquently writing and expressing my own opinions about ak.
Thanks for your usual intelligent contribution. This is some of the weirdest shit I've ever read on here. Farsi?
You're welcome! Thanks for your usual intelligent contribution.
Some of your best were "im sure thats it" and other pearls of wisdom. If you dont like what i write either dont read it or block me. There- now you can go back to screaming at your mom for meatloaf from her basement
I just went through the thread quickly and found this one, I honestly remember quite a bit of dislike directed at Stutzle at the time and I thought it was shocking how contentious it was, even more than the Dewey/Bogo draft threads were. It didn't seem clear cut to me at the time who the BPA was and the discussion here made it seem like it was clear. There also weren't many at all supporting Stutzle.
Also, what's your deal man?
May I be the first to say....WTF are you talking about? And let me add...how the F would you know about any of this....and F your accusations too. There is so much to like about this goal. Totally forgot LAF pasted that guy into the boards earlier in the shift.
FWIW, there was some talk around the time of the draft that Kaliyev was a poor interview and generally awkward. I think it actually did have a bit of an impact on his draft stock, because he was otherwise considered a first-round talent. More specifically, he was considered the second-best shooter of the draft after Cole Caufield. I don't attribute that awkwardness to anything else (like some have), but it was a point of discussion. You're welcome!
I'm not the one inferring that Arty can't communicate and is getting singled out. He's lived here since he was 2, he played for Team USA ffs. WTF does inclusion have to do with anything? Arty isn't different, he's been playing hockey in North America for years.
It's fine if you don't like management or how they treat Arty, just say so. But don't make up a bunch of crap to stoke outrage about nothing at all. And I still can't figure out where Farsi came from, they don't speak that in Uzbekistan.
And I'm too lazy to scream at Mom, I have one of those bat phones so she knows when to send pizza down here.
You could see how nervous he was at the combine for sure. His interviews during and after games are much better when he's in the moment.FWIW, there was some talk around the time of the draft that Kaliyev was a poor interview and generally awkward. Gare Joyce's Future Greats and Heartbreaks catalogued how he followed the Columbus Blue Jackets, and Phil Kessel was an awful interview with them. He turned out pretty well.
And no, I'm not saying Kaliyev will be Kessel. Just that awkwardness and being a bad interview isn't an indicator of how much they'll succeed. It's also part of the reason why Yannetti hates the combine - the kids just give a bunch of canned answers instead of showing their personality.
Good question. Reign camp is also in El Segundo so it's not like they were actually sent anywhere. I think the reign play at home on Sunday. Why were the guys sent down today instead of after camp ended and the final preseason game played? Didn't think there was a cap until the first game.
Ontario has their own training camp and preseason. In fact, they were supposed to play tonight, but had to be postponed due to a power outage. Why were the guys sent down today instead of after camp ended and the final preseason game played? Didn't think there was a cap until the first game.

I live up near Seattle now, so I am unable to get any in-person viewings until I make a trip back down south. So they will have only one preseason game. That's not good, because they have so many left shooting D. Krygier, Hicketts, Moverare, Connauton, Nousiainen, Inamoto, Martin, Greenway, Modry.
Right shooting D: Clarke, Santini, Wylie.
Have you seen any practises? Has Moverare, Hicketts or Nousiainen been right side?
Remember, they were 'loaned' not 'assigned'....don't really know the difference, but I thought it was interesting.Good question. Reign camp is also in El Segundo so it's not like they were actually sent anywhere. I think the reign play at home on Sunday.
NYR have been playing Alex Lafreniere (that's the guy picked BEFORE Byfield) on the big club since day one. How's that working out for them? This whole Byfield vs Stutzle thing is crazy. I guarantee you he wouldn’t get 20 minutes a game on the King’s first line as a rookie. Not only that the stupid Koala bear and Blake would of had him in the AHL his first season.
As have the Senators with Stutzle.NYR have been playing Alex Lafreniere (that's the guy picked BEFORE Byfield) on the big club since day one. How's that working out for them?
How do you accumulate 200+ points in last two seasons by not using your players correctly? Danault, Fiala, Gavrikov -- all more than successful acquisitions, now we see was PLD can do but no reason to think it won't be just as good as the others. The main issue I see currently is that Blake has no clue how to scout and aquire players that Todd can use correctly...
And Todd has no clue or ability to adapt his system to the players Blake acquires.
The two are not a good fit together no matter how much they claim otherwise.
So I guess what we are saying is that Stutze should have went #1...stupid NYR, lol!As have the Senators with Stutzle.

Are you thinking of a different team?

So who goes #2?
