For anyone listening, what happened on Zac Bolduc's goal?
One timer while Bolduc was wide openFor anyone listening, what happened on Zac Bolduc's goal?
Idk if it's correct. But it's showing the same stats on ESPN and NHL. So it wouldn't surprise me.Are the stats right? Did Ellis give up 3 goals on 3 shots?
Oooof. Pack those bags. That is a back to the ECHL level performance there. They really need to pay me to watch Ellis. He is always good when I watch him.Idk if it's correct. But it's showing the same stats on ESPN and NHL. So it wouldn't surprise me.
They say DAL had 16 total shots in the game and the Blues 13. I certainly hope they’re wrong or that was one heck of a boring game! Are the stats right? Did Ellis give up 3 goals on 3 shots?

They updated it then.espn shows 3 goals on 16 shots.
what his +-, thats what matters is his defensive play.that was a nice goal and play by Dean and Bolduc. Those 2 might have some chemistry. I saw some nice Kyrou plays on the game highlights. Here’s my hot take… Kyrou is going to score 40 and have 100 pts.

not if hes a -50 or whatever he wasid think 40g and 100 pts would offset his defensive liabilities. He does create turnovers with his speed, but just needs to backcheck more.
agree on the Dean/Bolduc combo. they seem to play very well togetherthat was a nice goal and play by Dean and Bolduc. Those 2 might have some chemistry. I saw some nice Kyrou plays on the game highlights. Here’s my hot take… Kyrou is going to score 40 and have 100 pts.
sorry, but those are two separate thingswhat his +-, thats what matters is his defensive play.
Who is saying they’re not?sorry, but those are two separate things
I am am saying that +/- is not in any way a stat that shows how good or bad a player is defensivelyWho is saying they’re not?
You’re right. Way he worded his post threw me off for some reason. Thanks for clearing that up, I thought he was saying something different but I see now he ain’t. Thanks bro.I am am saying that +/- is not in any way a stat that shows how good or bad a player is defensively
anyone who tries to tie the defensive abilities to a player by +/- shows their complete ignorance of hockey right there
Yes, but will Vrana bother to give a try to backchecking and give decent effort to impede opponents in the defensive zone? After watching the first 2 days of Training Camp, here are my thoughts on some players:
Kyrou - stronger, faster, should be a perennial all-star
Thomas - our #1 C, also could be a perennial all-star
Buchnevich - same Buch, can be a perennial all-star too
Hayes - big, smart, could make all-star appearance
Vrana - looks like an all-star goal scorer
Perunovich - quick, determined, almost like an all-star
Krug - Sucked
Hofer - stud goalie, future HOF’er maybe
Scandella - looks healthy, could be a stud d-man again
