21 year old second year player looks behind at times in the nhl? That’s not a news story brother.

I mean then it begs the question of why is he still in the NHL? If he doesn't have the strength, can't keep up with the pace and is behind the play, then what the hell are they doing with him?

This has always been the problem with Howden...the Rangers have ignored every poor on ice result and stuck with him in the NHL because "he practices well" or "does the small things right" despite the on ice product being crap. I've never wanted him to fail but the entire issue comes back around to the Rangers forcing him into the NHL and keeping him there when he desperately needed development time somewhere else like the AHL.

Beyond that I haven't seen a ton of progress made in getting better last season. That's a concern. It doesn't matter how young he is you want to see improvement from year to year, not stagnation. If he isn't showing marked improvement this year then it's a huge red flag.

Re: Chytil yeah there are some of the same concerns there in that you want to keep seeing more progress, but he has taken steps forward even if they're not as large as we'd hoped.

zero argument from me that he should have gone to the A just like chytil had done

Kloucek was never really the same after his knee was destroyed, he never stood out in Nashville either as I recall. Dunham was pretty lights out at first and the Rangers desperately needed a goalie. Sather rode Dunham into the ground the next season though instead of getting a reliable backup and for a guy with an injury history that Dunham had it was probably predictable that playing him to death was going to result in another injury, and once again Dunham never really recovered after that

Plus wasn't that the year they lost Blackburn to the nerve injury? So it kinda left Dunham without a backup. I was never, ever a Dunham fan and hated that trade. Back then we seemed to make bad trades on a daily basis.

So one guy i expected to be placed on waivers today. Darren Raddysh. I don’t believe he’s exempt. So he’s staying with the main roster for now?

His bust of a brother is on waivers though. I know we ALL wanted his brother Taylor at that deadline over Howden.

no excuse taylor is waiver exempt just going down

he's waiver exempt for 1 more year.

You’d never know we drafted the first overall pick with how horrible our camp programming has been.

Has MSG announced any season preview shows? I know they are doing the town hall thing, but man talk about dropping the ball.

First time in existence they get a true first overall pick and they don't even have a special to get fans hyped up? They had like 5 of them when Gomez and Drury were signed.

Svech is getting waived by a historically bad team for a reason.

He’s khl bound. Not good enough

Man Derek Ryan and his righty shot are on waivers. Center/winger heck of a 2019-20 season that’s a guy I’d absolutely put a claim on for the 12/13th forward spot

I mean (if I am thinking of the right guy) Derek Ryan is a rich person’s Kevin Rooney.

They're stuck in the stone ages. They should be leading the pack with the resources they have.

There's no reason not to have a plethora of Ranger content.

It annoys me, but I can't say I am surprised. They created a 7-minute draft day video and they are gloating like they invented the f***ing wheel. Other teams have been doing this for years, and with actual 10-minute episodes (Check out the Hurricanes' "Inside the Storm" series from 2018).

The Rangers organization is lazy and they get away with it because their product sells itself. They are based in New York City. They have been selling tickets and merchandise for decades simply because of tourism.

They sell jerseys for $280 with absolutely horrendous customization and fans are defending that crap because "It comes from the MSG Shop so it must be good". Fans are in denial.

Love the team, but the organization as a whole is horrible

I’ll say it where I’m concerned this season more than anything?
